Our through color process utilizes salts & minerals in conjunction with present tannins in the wood enhancing the wood planks natural patina. Our process creates one of a kind floor representative of partially fossilized timbers in a wide range of colors… light to heavy color contrast between boards, open & filled knots, splits & checks ranging from large to small. Heartwood and sapwood (light to dark) can be present along with varied textures from light to heavy saw marks, wire brushing and hand sculpting. Refer to sample for a visual representation.
