GOOD DESIGN®
Hallmark Floors True Engineered Hardwood Collection has been recognized by The Chicago Athenaeum as an innovation in the FLOOR+WALL COVERING category. The True collection is truly amazing with stunning colors and features. Hallmark Floors is the first to master this revolutionary technology of replicating “the bog-wood process” that occurs when logs lie buried in lakes, river, and waterways for hundreds of years, deprived of oxygen and sunlight.
We are proud to be voted as an industry leader in manufacturing by The Chicago Athenaeum.

UNIQUE WOOD DESIGNED BY NATURE AND TIME
The True Collection:
Some of the most spectacular-looking woods were created by healthy trees falling into adjacent swamps, wetlands, lakes, and rivers, lying buried for hundreds to thousands of years. Deprived of any oxygen and sunlight, they were preserved from decay by absorbing salt, tannins and minerals’ resulting in the most beautiful, partially fossilized timber in a wide range of colors.
Hallmark Floors Wins The Good Design® Award.
For more than seven decades since its inception, The Chicago Athenaeum continues the organization of the program to create a revived awareness about contemporary design and to honor both products and industry leaders in design and manufacturing that have chartered new directions and pushed the envelope for competitive products in the world marketplace.
Every year, designers and manufactures in about 50 nations are honored for their singular achievements in producing hallmarks of contemporary design. For more than 70 years, everything and anything produced in and for the environment from a paperclip to a Boeing 787 Dreamliner or NASA Space Ship have been honored.
