True Craftsmen for more than twenty-five years, Taylor Gautsche has been in the construction/flooring industry. More than a decade ago he started specializing in hardwood. Taylor is the owner and lead installer for Gautsche & Sons Contractors and comes from generations of other true craftsmen.

“As a child I was more interested in seeing what I could build with my hands than playing video games. I knew more about power tools and framing squares than the best kids toys.”

According to Taylor, Gautsche & Sons Contractors is built on knowledge from generations of entrepreneurs, businessmen, salesmen and craftsmen and we think it shows! “I’ve learned all of this from my grandfather, father and uncles who have all started very successful businesses and have proven to be true craftsmen.”  

Hallmark Floors at Home

Taylor lives in Omaha, Nebraska with his wife and two boys. When they built their home he was drawn to Hallmark Floors and installed Sandal from the Ventura Collection. “I can’t say enough about the quality, wide variety of colors and styles that Hallmark has to offer. I’ve been very pleased with the quality of the finish. My floors take a beating every day with two small children and the foot traffic, but they still look brand new.”

Along the way, Taylor, a true craftsmen, learned that all of his side work could turn into something more and started full-time September 2015. He took an entrepreneurship leap, networked via social media and let his friends and family know about the change. As a true entrepreneur, Taylor wears many hats at Gautsche & Sons Contractors. Not only is he the owner, but also a salesman, installer and project manager. He specializes in hardwood floor installations, garage organization, carpentry work and other miscellaneous projects.

“Putting on my work boots every day gives me a sense of pride and accomplishment that is earned through hard work and dedication. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

Gautsche & Sons Contractors sells Hallmark Floors to their customers because they believe in the quality and value of our floors. “Not only do they have a great website and literature but the sample boards are well done and really gives a good representation to my customers of what the floor is going to look like.”
