NOVELLA COLLECTION
The innovative and versatile Novella Hardwood Collection creates a multitude of options through offering two finishes, three wood species and an array of captivating colors. The planks made from Maple and Hickory are treated with the TrueMark® Glaze Tek finish, providing a low-sheen luster, while the Oak products are finished with Nu Oil®, Hallmark’s exclusive Oil finish. The Novella floors feature our slice-cut style, with boards that have been lightly sculpted by hand (maple & hickory) or lightly hand sculpted and wire brushed (oak), with detailed coloring. This versatile collection was designed to fit any design scheme and compliment any lifestyle.
UNIQUE SURFACE TREATMENT
Slice-cut features the same beautiful look as sawn cut veneers and is the second most common way to create a wood veneer. With wide planks at 6″ and random lengths up to 6’2″, the Novella Collection collection offers a wide range of colors for any aesthetic.
NU OIL® OR GLAZE TEK FINISH
The finish will be either Nu Oil® or GlazeTek, depending on the color selected. Oaks in Ventura have a Nu Oil® finish, the Hickories & Walnut have a GlazeTek Finish.
DURABLE SURFACE LAYER
Hallmark Floors uses only true hardwood veneers and TSCA Title VI glues for the center-ply in our engineered floors’ hardwood construction. The center veneers are cold pressed, then hot pressed using tremendous pressure. This process makes the eco-friendly center core harder and more proportionally stable.
ENGINEERED WOOD STRUCTURE
Hallmark Floors’ engineered hardwood floors is constructed with a wear layer has the same usable surface as 3/4” solid hardwood flooring.

MAINTENANCE
There are 2 different finishes in the Novella Collection. Oaks are finished with Nu Oil® and requires specific cleaning products, click here for Nu Oil® maintenance guide. ENGINEERED OR SOLID
Engineered wood flooring looks almost identical to solid on the surface, but instead of a single wood plank, it’s made of a high-quality plywood core with a layer of hardwood flooring on top. Both surfaces are almost identical in terms of benefits, leaving the choice to be a personal one.
