We decided to replace the various flooring on our 1st floor (approximately 1,000 sqft) with Novella Thoreau Hickory floors and couldn’t be happier. The floor provides the deep color and rustic/distressed look we wanted. We have a 45lb dog who can get a little hyper and hasn’t scratched the floors once (our biggest concern). The dog’s hair shows a little more than on carpet or linoleum, but with a little sweeping it’s very easy to clean. Overall we’re very happy with the product.
