The difference between Ventura & Alta Vista hardwood flooring

Besides color, the main differences are the surface texture and thickness in the two collections. Ventura’s texture has a wire brush surface, where Alta Vista’s surface has a very light hand crafted soft scraping & Wire Brushed surface. Ventura’s thickness is 2mm, where Alta Vista is twice as thick at 4mm. Basically the thickness is the wear layer. This is the biggest difference between the two and the price naturally reflects that.

Why create Ventura at all? We want to give everyone a budget they could work with. Both collections are beautiful and are made with Hallmark’s Nu Oil finish. I personally love both collections and think you can’t go wrong with either one. NuOil is more forgiving for those of us with a busy, active full life.
